What is the difference between PowerNet Global Communication's Internet service and AOL's Internet Service?
The primary difference between our Internet service and AOL, CompuServe, and Prodigy's (to name a few) is that we are a full service Internet Service Provider (ISP) and the above companies are examples of Online Service Providers.

The differences between the two types of services are simple. We provide a direct connection to the Internet. There are no limitations or restrictions on what you can access because your computer is connected directly to the Internet. If what you are looking for is available online, we will not prevent you from getting it.

Online service providers, such as AOL, have "gateways" to the Internet that the user can "see" through. While you will still be able to "browse the web", these "gateways" allow the Online Service Provider to limit your Internet access to whatever the service provider wishes to provide, or is capable of providing you access to.

Keep in mind that even if you decide to go with PowerNet Global Internet Service as opposed to an Online Service Provider; you still have the ability to "chat", even with AOL's Instant Messenger!

*Additional $2.95/month + 10 cpm for usage if using 800 access number. You should use the local access number provided if possible to avoid these charges.
